A house had been burnt down in Langton Road in Montclair on the morning of 12 July 2017.

Rescue Care and Durban Fire Department responded to the call in Langton Road just after 10 am. On arrival Paramedics found the fire department working to put the fire out.

Fortunately, only one person sustained minor injuries however he refused to proceed to the hospital. There were no other casualties from the fire. The Fire Department extinguished the blaze using multiple Fire engines.

At this stage, the cause of the fire is unknown however SAPS and Fire was on scene and will be investigating further.
