Police officers in Cato Manor responded swiftly to a house robbery in the early hours of the morning and this led to the arrest of two men.

On 17 June 2020, at 02:30; the family was sleeping at their home in Cato Crest when two men forced the door open. They accosted the family and threatened them with knives. The suspects stole three cellphones, cash and a Play Station before they fled the scene.

A case of house robbery was opened at the Cato Manor police station for investigation. Following a swift investigation into the robbery, two men aged 21 and 33 were apprehended. They were detained at the Cato Manor police station and will appear in the Durban Magistrate’s Court on 19 June 2020.

Some of the stolen items have also been recovered.
