Reaction Officers Kieran Ramjogi and Musa Alli were dispatched to recover the taxi and drove approximately 80 kilometres to its location.

Upon arrival the Officers found the vehicle several metres down an embankment.

It is believed that the suspects had lost control of the taxi while travelling on a gravel road.

The vehicle then rolled several metres down an embankment before becoming wedged in between two trees.
