An undercover operation was conducted by Hawks’ South African Narcotics Enforcement Bureau (SANEB) and it led to the arrest of a 47-year-old man and the seizure of drugs.
One kilogram of pure heroin powder with an estimated street value of R130 000-00 was recovered on separate operations where the suspect sold drugs to two undercover agents. He was arrested on the night of 19 February 2021, in Richards Bay.
