Yet another business has been robbed in the Isipingo CBD. On Friday 7 June 2019, a single suspect held up staff at a funeral parlour at gunpoint. The suspect fled with an unconfirmed amount of cash. There were no injuries reported and staff were too traumatised to provide a description of the suspect at the time.
Alpha Alarms Response was dispatched to the business premises and SAPS was also on site, the police escorted staff to the police station and are investigating the armed robbery case.
