Residents of Verulam are requested to be on the lookout for an African male who is in his mid forties, dressed in a blue Verulam Independent School jacket and mustard pants.
The suspect was employed as a gardener on a part time basis at a home on High Street in Verulam. He is being sought for an unprovoked attack on other employees who are employed at the home based business.
Reaction Officers were dispatched to the residence after receiving a call from the homeowner requesting assistance in removing the suspect from the property. Upon arrival the homeowner informed Reaction Officers that the suspect became enraged for an unknown reason. He then assaulted other staff with a metal pipe and fled the home leaving his personal belongings behind. One person was injured in the attack but refused medical attention. Reaction Officers patrolled the area in search of the suspect however no arrests were made.
