At 16H03 Friday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the M80 near Hilton in the KZN Midlands.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control causing the vehicle to roll down an embankment.
Three adults and a child aged approximately two-years-old were injured in the collision.
All four patients were treated on scene and transported by Netcare 911 as well as another service to hospital for further assessment and care.
All necessary authorities were on scene to investigate.
