Police divers from Durban Search and Rescue Unit along with members of Durban K9 Search and Rescue Unit, Metro Police Search and Rescue Unit and Life Response EMS returned to the Mbokodweni River to search for a missing victim that was washed away during the Kwazulu-Natal floods on Monday evening.
The search was conducted from the Mega Philani Bridge in Folweni downstream to the Lotus Park Bridge without success.
The search was suspended on Saturday night and resumed on Sunday 30 April 2019.
