Three men who robbed a home of an undisclosed amount of cash fired several shots during their getaway on Saturday night 11 April 2020.
At approximately 22:55 members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the Chubbies Garage area in the vicinity of Brindhaven after receiving reports of shots being fired.
On arrival it was established that three men forced their way into a home and held up a boy before they stole and undisclosed amount of cash and passports. As the robbers fled the residence they fired a volley of shots. No injuries were reported.
Several spent 9mm cartridges were recovered at the scene.
Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the gunmen however no arrests were made.
