At 14H06 Friday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of an armed robbery at a business in Umgeni Park.
Reports from the scene indicate that at least five employees were assaulted during a robbery.
The patients sustained minor injuries and after assessment were transported to hospital by various ambulance services for further assessment.
All necessary authorities were on scene to investigate.
