Five cyclists injured in Umhlanga hit-and-run

KwaZulu-Natal: At 07H47 Sunday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the M4 north bound between the M41 offramp and the Umhlanga turnoff.

Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle ploughed into five cyclists and then fled the scene.

The patients, all adult males sustained moderate injuries and were treated on scene by Advanced life support paramedics.

Once stabilized the patients were transported to hospital for further treatment.

The Durban North SAPS are on the scene.
