Several armed and dangerous suspects set bales on fire at a farm in the Franklin area, Harry Gwala District, Kokstad Municipality, KwaZulu-Natal, on Thursday October 20. When the farmer Mike Osborne went out to investigate the armed and devious suspects attacked him.
Mike was stabled multiple times leading to many superficial stab wounds from the head and arms, the sciatic nerve in the buttocks and pierced in the stomach. A deep stab penetrated the right side and punctured his left lung. Mike was later transferred to the Kokstad hospital.
Fortunately, the suspects could not gain access into the residence and Mike’s family and children were unarmed.
An investigation continues.
