A farm attack took place in Elandslaagte on 1 April 2019. While driving up to his gate, Mr F Oosthuizen, was fired on from the bush by attackers wearing black clothing with balaclavas covering their faces. SAPS K9 responded with one tracker dog, one patrol dog with three members from Ladysmith because Elandslaagte SAPS currently have no vehicles to respond and assist. TRT were also requested.
The attackers are armed and dangerous. There is no other information available at this stage nor are there any confirmation of any injuries.
