A farm murder took place in the early hours of 23 April 2021, on Wendover farm in Karkloof, near Howick, in the KwaZulu Natal province of South Africa. Three armed attackers gained access by cutting the fence and tied up one of the staff members that stay on site.
Trevor Murphy was then attacked and stabbed.
The attackers ransacked the home and stole two Cell Phones, a Tablet, 3 Laptops, a Flat screen TV, a Hi Fi and fled in the victim’s vehicle a White Ford Ranger, Double cab with no canopy, with Registration NR32220.
EMRS and SAPS attended the scene.
Trevor Murphy unfortunately died enroute to hospital as a result of injuries sustained during the attack.
