A farm murder took place on the night of 24 February 2020, on a farm between Rosetta and Mooi River, Kwazulu Natal province, South Africa. Patricia “Trish” Taylor (65) was shot dead and her friend aged 70 was tied up by two masked attackers. Entrance to home was gained through the bathroom window.
TV’s, safe and the victim’s vehicle were robbed during the attack. The vehicle was pinged and Nsele Reaction Units responded and the vehicle was recovered in the sports ground behind the Mooi River SPCA in the bush. Unfortunately the vehicle was left abandoned and no suspects were found.
Mooi River SAPS are busy with the forensic investigations. There is no other information available at this stage.
