A farm attack took place on Sunday afternoon, 23 July 2023, on a farm in Dalton, in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa.
A woman who runs a small stall on the farm was attacked and assaulted by five attackers.
During the attack the woman was burnt with boiling water.
At this stage it is unclear what transpired, what was robbed or the extent of the injuries suffered.

The attackers fled the scene on foot into the adjacent fields.
The alarm was raised and farmers, local security companies and police responded.
During a follow up operation one of the attackers was arrested.
The other four are still on the run.
Police are investigating.
