A farm attack took place on 4 July 2020, in Bishopstowe, on the outskirts of Pietermaritzburg, in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. A woman and her children were attacked and sprayed with pepper spray by an unknown number of attackers. She managed to lock herself and the kids in a room and raised the alarm. Fortunately a nearby farmer and the community were quick to respond.
No serious injuries reported. The police are investigating the attack there have been no arrests. There is no other information available at this stage.
