A farm attack took place on 5 March 2022, at 20:15, on a farm in Paulpietersburg in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. A farmer André Claassen and his wife Wilana had just retuned home and were pulling into their garage when an attacker came running up to his vehicle.
The attacker pointed the firearm at the farmer and pulled the trigger, fortunately the firearm did not go off.
The farmer reversed out of the garage and sped to safety.
It is unclear how many attackers were on the property.
The farmer called for help and all role players responded. The were tracks found and an operation was launched.
There were however no arrests. No one was injured during the attack.
