On Saturday, 11 February 2017 at 22:40 a family were at their rondavel in the Ndaleni area when they were attacked.
Four family members were brutally killed while in the rondavel by unknown suspects.
A four-year-old child was wounded during the shooting and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
The suspects fled the scene after the incident. The motive for the shooting cannot be confirmed at this stage.
Four counts of murder and attempted murder were opened at Richmond police station.
