Seven armed suspects entered a farm house situated in Wartburg, Table Mountain, Pietermaritzburg on Monday, April 10.
The dangerous suspects overpowered and assaulted the family while demanding money and the location of the safe.
The suspects recognized a commotion outside the house and fled with the victim’s motor vehicle. The main gate was locked, and the suspects forced a worker to open the gate.
The police and community security responded to the incident and following up on an investigation. No arrests have been made.
