ALS Paramedics responded to the shooting in Umlazi U section alongside SAPS and multiple security personnel to find a horrific scene.
Paramedics arrived on scene after 9pm to find the entire area cornered off. Together with EMRS, ALS Paramedics where shown to where the lifeless bodies lay outside what is believed to be a tavern.
Six Males and Two Females were declared deceased on the scene due to the multiple gunshot wounds they had sustained.
At this stage the events leading up to the shooting is unknown however SAPS had cornered off the entire area and will be investigating further.
