At approximately 19:00 Ensure Security recieved information that a Durban North Resident had been hijacked whilst conducting community work in the Ntuzuma area.
A GPS location of the incident was attained and Tactical Intervention Units mobilized to the area.
Within fifteen minutes the female was located near the Soweto area of Ntuzuma.
Reports are that whilst she was returning to her vehicle she was confronted by four armed men who forced her into her vehicle before driving off.
She was later released and with the help of a community member, was able to call for assistance.
The vehicle and suspects remain outstanding and the search is ongoing.
