Earlier this afternoon, members from Port Shepstone together with Hibiscus Medevac Medical Rescue Services rescued a drowning victim at the Port Shepstone river mouth within approximately 10 minutes from the reported drowning.
CPR was initiated and the person was successfully resuscitated and transported to hospital in a critical condition for further treatment.
