On Wednesday morning, IPSS Search and Rescue received reports about a dog in the Desainager area that was trapped in a snare.
Immediately, one of our IPSS Search and Rescue Volunteers together with Shaun and Kerry from SAFE, went out to where the dog was trapped.
Upon arrival, it was clear the dog had been injured due to the snare and he was in distress. He was safely removed from the snare and further assessed for injuries.
The owner was also located, and made his way to the location.
The owner took his dog to the vet for a check up.
