The Transnational Investigation Unit at the Durban harbour recovered counterfeit athletic wear worth a substantial amount.
They include running shoes, track suits, track pants, shorts in the brands of Nike, Converse, Adidas and Solomon. The goods are from China and destined for South Africa.
The team has identified potential suspects and are currently tracing them.
