Provincial Drug and Firearm Task Team are still cleaning and removing drugs from our streets in the KZN province. The police officers followed up information about a man delivering drugs at Silverglen Drive, Chatsworth on the morning of 14 September 2019.
The vehicle belonging to the man was spotted at a premises and it was searched. The man was found in possession of 14 pieces of rock in his possession and it was seized. Four plastic packets of cocaine powder were also seized from the premises.
A 36 year old suspect was arrested and charged with possession of drugs. He is expected to appear in the Chatsworth Magistrate’s Court on Monday 16 September 2019.
