An intelligence driven operation led to the arrest of two men at Fodaville in Estcourt on the night of 5 September 2019. Police officers from the Public Order Policing Unit and uThukela Cluster conducted an operation at a house in Estcourt following up on investigations into drug dealing activities in the area.
On arrival at the home, a search was conducted and a 23 year old man was found in possession of heroin. A second suspect was arrested by police after the 29 year old was found in possession of seven packets of cocaine.
Both suspects were detained at the Estcourt police station. The two men were charged for possession of drugs are appearing at the Estcourt Magistrates Court.
