Police in the Brighton Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit are searching for Sibongiseni Richard Ngcobo, 40, for allegedly raping four children aged between seven and ten at Mathinini Informal Settlement in the Cato Manor area between July and October 2016.

Children reported the incident to their parents and that is when Sibongiseni evacuated his corrugated iron house and disappeared. He was living in the neighbouring house to all his victims. Sibongiseni would call the child, send her to buy something at the tuckshop when she comes back, he would lock the door and rape her.

It is alleged that he did the same to all his victims.

He is medium built and about 1.7metres tall. He had small moustache and beard. He is believed to be hiding in the Clare Estate area.

A warrant for his arrest has been issued. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to urgently contact the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Paton on 083 560 0586 or 031 203 7336/4/2.
