On Monday the nineteenth of June at 11h44, Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a shooting incident at the Standard bank in Prospecton, Durban.
Reports from the scene indicate that the business owner was coming out the bank after drawing money when he was shot by unknown gunmen.
The exact detail to the incident and preceding events will remain a subject for the police to investigate.
Paramedics arrived and found the man lying on the ground with a life-threatening wound in the abdomen. Netcare 911 paramedics were joined by medics from other services, together the team consisting of ten paramedics worked tirelessly to attempt a resuscitation.
Tragically, despite all the effort the man was declared dead at the scene.
