Winterton detectives are making an appeal to members of the community to assist with regards to two wanted suspects. Zweli Shabalala (35) as well as his brother Meshangu Thomas Shabalala (26) are sought by police for an assault with intent to commit grievous bodily harm case.
The incident took place in the Khethani area of Winterton on 10 of October 2018. The brothers attacked and assaulted a 50 year old woman, who sustained severe injuries.
The brothers are known to frequent the Emmanus area in Bergville as well as the Ladysmith and Estcourt areas. Warrants for their arrest has been issued by court.
