A 23-year-old man was seriously injured after he was stabbed by his brother during an argument at their home in Waterloo, Verulam on the morning of 22 July 2017.
At approximately 03h38 members of Reaction Unit South Africa was dispatched to the scene after receiving a call from a resident in the area requesting medical assistance for the injured man.
Upon arrival, the intoxicated man was found bleeding profusely from his injuries.
It was established that the brothers were consuming alcohol when a fight broke out between the two. During the altercation, one of the brothers stabbed his sibling in the head and arm with a broken mirror.
Paramedics stabilized the man before transporting him to a local hospital.
