Port Shepstone SAPS are requesting the assistance of the public in the investigation of a theft case which occurred in Umtentweni in March 2021.

It is alleged that an unknown man approached a residence claiming to purchase old gold or jewellery. He further requested to drink water and while the complainant went to do so, he quickly made a search of the house and took jewellery of substantial value.

The male may have left in a bakkie with an ND registration. The person in the attached identikit may be able to help police with the investigation.
