Durban Central Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is appealing to the members of the community with regards to the case of rape they are investigating.

It is alleged that on 24 June 2018 at 16:30, a victim (24) went to the ladies room at her place of residence in Queen Street, Durban when she was accosted by an unknown male who forcefully raped her.

The victim in this case is mentally disturbed and she was instructed not to tell anyone about the rape. Police believe that the man in the attached identikit can assist in solving the case.
