The Brighton Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit are seeking assistance from members of the community with regards to a rape case that they are investigating. It is alleged that on 1 February 2019 at 03:50, a 37 year old woman was walking along Harry Gwala Road in Chesterville, when she was attacked by an unknown man.

The suspect forced the victim into the bushes and raped her at knife point. A case of rape was opened at Cato Manor police station and was transferred to the Brighton Beach FCS Unit for investigation.

The investigating officer is searching for a man in the attached identikit and believes that he can assist in solving this case. He is tall in height and is slender built.
