A silver polo with three African male suspects were seen in the Whetstone area on Friday evening where an armed robbery was committed.
Suspects managed flee with an undisclosed amount of valuables. The incident occurred on Kidstone.
On Saturday morning another armed robbery occurred on Courtvale in Rydalvale where the same silver polo with three African males committed a robbery before Fleeing.
The suspects then went to the Whetstone Area shortly after committing the robbery in CourtVale, the suspects committed a robbery and whilst attempting to flee were Robbed of their vehicle keys causing the suspects to abandon their polo and flee.
Whilst Fleeing Suspects opened fire towards community members and struck stationary vehicles along the roadway.
The suspects managed to hijack a silver triber and flee into bhambayi, Phoenix Saps members engaged in a chase and the suspects crashed the vehicle, one suspect was apprehended and firearm was recovered.
KZNVIP were also on scene with saps members in Bhambayi.
No injuries were reported…
