At approximately 18:06 on Friday afternoon members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to Mahatma Ghandi Crescent in Tongaat, KwaZulu-Natal after receiving reports of an armed robbery which occurred.
Upon arrival reaction officers were informed that two armed suspects gained entry into the home were they tied up the seven occupants.
The suspects then ransacked the residence in search of keys to the safe.
Upon locating the keys the suspects stole two CZ 75 hand guns as well as an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene.
None of the victims were injured during the robbery.
