A family were robbed at gunpoint at their home in Cottonlands, KZN during the early hours of Sunday morning 12 April 2020.
At approximately 04:15 the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Verulam Operations Center received a call regarding the robbery. On arrival it was established that four suspects forced open the back door and gained entry into the residence.
According to the victim one of the suspects was armed with a firearm. The robbers made off with eleven cellphones and the keys to the victim’s vehicle.
No injuries were reported. The police are investigating.
