ANC’s KZN deputy chair corruption case drags on for 5 years

The ANC in KZN Deputy Chair, Mike Mabuyakhulu, has filed an application for annulment of corruption charges against him. A jazz festival that never took place in 2012 is in dispute. He approved LUK payment of R28 million for which he received a R300,000 bonus.

It is unclear why the case has been dragging on for five years, but it is apparently also being investigated, but observers believe the investigation is now being conducted while the head roll of many seniors involved in corruption and other irregularities.
