Just after 10:30am this morning ALS Paramedics responded to a horrific stabbing incident where multiple people had sustained multiple stab bound on Sim Place in Effingham, North of Durban.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find SAPS and Security Officials in attendance and were shown into a house where the incident had taken place.
Paramedics found three people believed to be family had sustained multiple stab wounds to their body.
A elderly female believed to be in her seventies and a teen boy had sustained fatal injuries and unfortunately there was nothing Paramedics could do for them and they were declared deceased on the scene.
A female believed to be in her forties had sustained serious injuries and was stabilized on the scene before being transported to a nearby Hospital for the further care that she required under Police Guard.
At this stage the events leading up to the stabbing is unknown however SAPS will be investigating further….
