At 10H30 Saturday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a light aircraft down in the Cato Ridge Area.
Reports from the scene indicate that two male patients sustained injuries when the plane came down.
The patients have been treated on scene and transported by another private ambulance service to hospital for further treatment.
The Ethekwini Fire and Rescue Services as well as the SAPS are on scene and have cordon off the area for investigations.
