A 46-year-old taxi owner was shot in an alleged hit in Trenance Park – KZN.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to Juniper Road at approximately 18:04 by the injured man’s neighbours.
Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and on arrival, were informed that two gunmen opened fire on the driver of a white Toyota Quantum at the entrance of Trenance Park – KZN.
The man drove to his residence on Juniper Road and was expedited to hospital prior to the arrival of First Responders.
He was allegedly shot on his left shoulder and abdomen. The mini bus was shot multiple times.
The motive for the shooting has not been established.
