A 43-year-old man was pronounced deceased from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head on Lenham Drive in Lenham – KZN a short while ago (Saturday).
A passerby raised the alarm after he discovered the unresponsive male slumped in the driver’s seat of a champagne Nissan Almera parked on the side of the road. The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre received a call for assistance at approximately 02:04.
Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and on arrival, found Emergency Services in attendance. A firearm belonging to the deceased was recovered in the car. His identity has been established.
