One person has been killed and five others injured after two vehicles collided head-on collision on the M35 after Philani Mall south of Durban around 8 am on 14 June 2017.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that the two vehicles had collided and come to rest on the side of the road. One person, a male believed to be in his thirties had suffered serious injuries and had unfortunately passed away before Paramedics had arrived, he was declared deceased on the scene. A further five people had sustained various injuries and were stabilized on the scene before being transported to various injuries for the further care that they required.
At this stage, the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
