Gerald Deysel, 47 and his extended family had to flee the Durban Deep mine-company house in Johannesburg
on Saturday night 15 March when they were put under a violent bombardment by at least four black stone-throwers who had started to break down reticulation pipes and stole the family’s electricity generator.
The Deysel family is comprised of the parents, their 22-year-old son’s fiancee and his two little grandchildren.
