IMF warns South Africa

Die Vryburger

The International Monetary Fund has warned that SA’s economy is becoming increasingly vulnerable and if economic growth does not happen, the situation will worsen.

Growth in the economy is estimated at 1% for 2017 and 1.2% for 2018.

Growth under the ANC is a myth while corruption, fraud, and manipulation of politicians are happening daily, and that is why the world’s rating agencies have moved the country’s economy into junk status.

Meanwhile, Jacob Zuma is on his way to the G20 summit. He wants to market South Africa as a safe investment destination, and he hopes to return with a plane full of investments.

Economists believe that all Zuma is going to achieve is to make himself and the country look more ridiculous because everyone knows that South Africa is a high-risk investment destination, especially with all the talk about nationalization of the Reserve Bank and land reform.
