The broadcaster watchdog, Icasa is considering investigating the MultiChoice agreements with the ANN7 news channel.
It is alleged that MultiChoice was involved in shady negotiations with the Gupta-controlled ANN7 news channel.
Naspers has meanwhile announced that they will investigate the allegations of unlawful payments.
It seems that the smoke has indeed blown on Naspers’s reputation.
