The controversial director general of Public Enterprises, Richard Seleke (photo), reached an agreement with the presidency and has resigned.
Seleke is linked to several shady agreements with the Gupta brothers.
He has been on paid leave for some time after it was found that he had leaked confidential information to the Gupta brothers.
OUTA has laid complaints against Seleke in 2017 and they will continue to push the NPA and Hawks to investigate these claims of corruption.
The details of the “agreement” are not known but will certainly involve a golden handshake with a subsequent later deployment in another department.
