Shortly after his first and last budget speech, Minister Malusi Gigaba was called to appear before the parliamentary portfolio committee of Public Enterprises.
His appearance arises from the mismanagement of state funds in state owned entities.
He asked for a “reasonable” delay, so the next date has not been fixed yet.
Meanwhile, he has moved from finance to home affairs, where he used to be and where he gave certain members of the controversial Gupta family citizenship in a record time.
