Certain political parties accused ANC President Jacob Zuma of appointing Malusi Gigaba as Minister of Finance so that the treasury can be hijacked on behalf of the Gupta brothers.
Apparently, the intention was that money could be transferred to Dubai.
It has been more than just speculation that Zuma himself has taken significant amounts of money in cash to Dubai while visiting there. The president’s luggage and aircraft are not searched for any possible smuggling.
