A woman, believed to be in her 20s, was shot-and-killed whilst jogging along Zinnia Drive in Malboro Gardens, Johannesburg.
ER24 Paramedics, along with the City of Johannesburg EMS, arrived on the scene at 07h00 to find the local authorities already in attendance.
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found the body of a woman lying on the sidewalk. Assessments showed that the woman had sustained a gunshot wound to her chest, as well as her abdomen. Unfortunately, the woman had already succumbed to her injuries. Nothing more could be done for her and she was declared dead.
The exact details are not known to our paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
